After knitting ‘full size’ for many years, I discovered the joy (and pain) of miniature knitting for the 1/12 scale baby dolls that go in dolls houses.

The baby clothes that I make can be as small as 1.5” or 3.5cm long, made from fine cotton and silk with knitting needles that are just 1mm thick so the stitch details are clear and as close to scale as possible.

From 1993 until recently I have been designing these tiny clothes and selling them (and the patterns to make them) through my website and at fairs in the UK.

about me

Ravelry is a place for knitters, crocheters, designers, spinners, weavers and dyers to keep track of their yarn, tools, project and pattern information, and look to others for ideas and inspiration. The content is all user- driven; Ravelry members as a community make the site what it is. It is a great place for you to keep notes about your projects, see what other people are making, find the perfect pattern and connect with people who love to play with yarn from all over the world in our forums.

It is free to join the Ravelry Community and is a very exciting place for anyone who is interested in the creative use of yarn.

what is Ravelry?

My designs are mainly for tiny Dollshouse Babies which measure from 1.5 inches up to 3.25 inches. At the moment I have 75 patterns including gowns, suits, dresses, shawls and other accessories which would be suitable for beginners to miniature knitting through to more advanced designs.

my designs

I have decided to sell my patterns exclusively through Ravelry.

If you have previously bought patterns from my website then the process will be similar: payment is made via Paypal with immediate download so that you can save or print the pattern yourself. The only difference will be that the download process is through the Ravelry site.

On my website you will see that the patterns are grouped according to doll size which you may find easier to use as Ravelry shows them as a large single group. Don't worry, the purchase process is exactly the same either way.
