Needles
I
use size 19 (1mm) knitting needles and a 0.60 crochet
hook for all my patterns. The crochet hook is readily
available in craft shops, however the kniting needles
are specialist items. There are many types of needle ranging
from short ones to some that resemble hatpins through
to metal and wooden handled ones. The type that you choose
is totally dependent on the way that you knit and how
you hold the needles. Your knitting tension and evenness
of stitch will be affected by your choice of needle, so
it's worthwhile experimenting until you are happy with
the results.
